Request Time

The Faulkes Telescope Project provide all users a certain amount of time to use with the telescopes per semester (6 months). However, at times you might want or need more time to complete your project of observations. We are usually able to fulfil requests for more time, so please don’t hesitate to ask. Simply fill in the form below and we will look to add more time to your account. If you’d like to request a slot on the Real Time Interface (RTI) instead, please click here.

Note: As of 2018, we now ask users to submit a short report on what they have used their time for in the last semester. This is so that we can showcase your great projects on our website, as well as ensuring that all users are using the telescopes effectively. There is a box in the form below that we would ask you to fill in (100-200 words). We may showcase your project on our site or get in touch for more information.

As of 2018, we are asking all users who require more time to do further observations to update us on what they have been doing so far. This allows us to promote the great work that you have been doing and ensure everyone is using the telescopes effectively. Please write a short paragraph (100-200 words) on what you have been using the telescope for.
